Happy Easter (vintage-cottage) weekend dear friends! My vintage-cottage weekend friend Debra of Common Ground and I are sharing our vintage-cottage inspo today so that we may focus on Easter. It’s a busy weekend getting ready to celebrate our Lord’s ressurection with family and doing some little Easter activities, so I thought I would just share a look back at some of my favorite vintage Easter posts for inspiration.

 

My Vintage-Cottage  Easter Dining Room post from 2019 is a great example of how I have been decorating in vintage-cottage style before the “trend” regained popularity and favor over modern farmhouse style in late 2020.

 

 

Easy Easter Vignetttes Using Vintage Easter Postcards

I love using vintage Easter postcards all around the house for Easter. This older post includes just a few of the many vignettes I have created with vintage Easter postcards over the years.

 

 

 

One of my very favorite Easters on the blog included tons of colorful spring vintage treasures! Check out my Bright and Festive Vintage Easter Joys post that I shared for the Vintage Easter Joys blog hop back in 2018. 

 

 

It was so fun finding creative ways to fill this old vintage cabinet full of vintage Easter joys! See all the chicks “nesting” in the cubbies?

 

 

 

 

 

I absolutely loved my Vintage Dishes and Daffodils Easter Table for Two. Victoria Magazine loved it too, and they featured a photo from the post on their official Instagram page!

 

 

 

 

 

 

This year I shared some ideas for Decorating for Easter with Vintage Alabaster Eggs.

Hip! Hop! It’s Easter in the Kitchen

One of my favorite Easter posts is my Sacred Easter Tablescape of 2019 entitled, “Consider the Lilies.”  It was inspired by the true meaning of Easter, the resurrection of of Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

 

Luke 27-28 

²⁷ Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

²⁸ If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Jesus loves and cares for us so, enough to lay down His own life for us, and to prove that He keeps His promises by rising from the grave and reigning forevermore. Praise His holy name!
