Happy May and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here. To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
On Monday I happily hosted the Spring Tea Party Blog Hop! Twenty-three blogging friends and I got together to share ideas for tea parties and Mother’s Day. I created “Une Petite French Tea Party (Pour Moi)” (A little French Tea party for me!) using my recent thrifted vintage dishes and shabby-chic French vintage thrifted treasures. Even though I only set up a little tea vignette for one, you are cordially invited to come over and join me for tea! Grab a cup of tea (or coffee if you prefer) and be sure to check out all of the other fun tea parties via the link up at the end of my tea party post. I am sure you will enjoy them!
On Tuesday I will be joining several blogging friends for a spring tea party tablecape blog hop. I will be using these lovely thrifted, vintage “Mildred” dishes in the design. I am really excited to use them in a tablescape for the first time and I would love for you to stop back by to check out my tablescape and all of the other pretty tables on the hop.
On Tuesday I traveled to historic Midway, Kentucky (Lexington area) for a routine doctor visit. I always enjoy visiting the historic town full of charming shops and historic homes. On this trip I discovered the Midway Flower Market! It was so adorable that I was inspired to write a blog post all about it. I took lots of pictures that I can’t wait to share with you. The post will be live on the blog on Saturday morning, so be sure to come back over and take a little stroll through the tiny European style garden shop!
If you are looking for some quick and easy gifts for Mother’s Day, check out my DIY Five Minute French Country Lavender Pots or my Lovely Lavender Themed Gift Basket with all-natural products. Tomorrow on the blog I will be sharing some beautiful last minute Mother’s Day gift ideas.
I hope you all have a Happy Mother’s Day weekend!
