It’s tulip time! Tulips are my favorite flower! They only bloom for about a month and I am always sad to see them go in late spring. Cut tulips are also short lived, but through trial and error I have discovered four easy tips to make tulips last longer and I am happy to share them with you!
In my previous post I shared these lovely white tulips that I received for my birthday. Anytime I have fresh tulips I like to make them last as long as possible. Over the years I have found a few little tricks to keep them around the house for a few extra days.
Friday was my birthday so I treated myself to a little  junkin’. First I hit my favorite consignment shop where I found three very old ironstone mugs. I actually went looking  specifically for ironstone mugs, so it must have been my birthday luck!

I absolutely love having a clean kitchen, but unfortunately it doesn’t clean itself. Our family has multiple food sensitivities so nearly every meal is homemade. Germs can grow and spread, mold can infiltrate, and you might even start to spot bugs and even rats taking home in your family’s kitchen. Luckily you can prevent these issues with routine cleaning! Thanks to a few quick and easy cleaning methods and a little multi-tasking our kitchen does stay clean most of the time.
