Happy November dear readers, and welcome back to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
Yesterday I shared my “Pretty In Pink” Vintage French Farmhouse Thanksgiving Tablescape for the Thanksgiving Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Tammy of Pink Peppermint Design. This design was inspired by some unexpected pink finds from Dollar Tree which coordinated beautifully with the pink turkey dishes I had chosen to use in my tablescape. Using pink was a bit of a change for me but I really love how it turned out! If you are looking for more Tablescape ideas, the hop continues all week long. You can find links to all 19 creative bloggers’ tablescapes via the links the end of my post.
If you are looking for more Thanksgiving table setting ideas, the hop continues all week long. You will find links to all 19 creative bloggers’ tablescapes at the end of my post.
Next week I will be hosting the “Gather ‘Round The Table” Thanksgiving Tablescapes, Dining Rooms, and Kitchens Blog Hop! I will be sharing the table setting for our Thanksgiving dinner which includes the beautiful Queen’s Majestic turkey dishes I picked up this summer. I have already seen the preview photos for this gorgeous hop and I can’t wait! Please plan to gather with us on Tuesday, November 13th to get some last minute Thanksgiving decorating ideas.
Last week we finally had to turn on our heat and we also had our first frost! That means it’s time to start cozying up the house for the long winter months ahead! In my post, How To Make Your Home Feel Cozy This Winter, I shared some easy ideas for adding comfy, cozy, winter style to your decor and tips for winterizing your home in preparation for winter.
Eddie Bauer Packable Throw Review
Winter may be on it’s way, but recently we have had some perfect fall weather in the bluegrass state! The temperature has been just right for enjoying a fire in the fire pit and snuggling up with my Eddie Bauer Packable Throw “Camp Blanket” from Down Lite Bedding. I received this blanket for review not knowing what to expect, but I have to say it is one of the most comfy and versatile little blankets I have ever owned! It folds up small and has a little travel bag which makes it perfect for travel. It would also make a great Christmas gift or Christmas decor (as a KY girl I love the blue and white but it also comes in red and white). Right now all of my readers can use the code DIGYEN15 for 15% off total purchase from Down Lite Bedding. Be sure to check out their website to find lots of cozy and comfy products.
It’s Giveaway Time!
The Season of Giveways has begun! From Nov. 3-16 you can enter to win a $150 Target gift card just in time for holiday shopping! After visiting the party today, be sure to scroll back up and enter the “Holiday Prep Giveway” HERE.
Now it’s time for some inspiring features from last week’s TFT party!

November 8, 2018 at 1:53 pmSo much gorgeous interior inspiration shared in this today! I am especially partial to your touches of pink for a softer, more romantic side of fall and Thanksgiving tablescapes. I’m partying with you today at #147 and #148 – two very different glimpses of my life. One is a home tour with resources and one is an intimate story about letting go and awakening. Thanks for this safe pocket to share, and I wish you peace right where you are. xox
