Autumn Elegance Thanksgiving Tablescape

On Tuesday I hosted the “Gather ‘Round The Table Blog Hop” where 21 blogging friends came together to share beautiful Thanksgiving inspiration. Since Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, I love to make the day special by setting the table for dinner in “autumn elegance.” This year I also chose to create a tablescape design that can easily transition into Christmas with just a few seasonal changes.

Easy As Magic! DIY Nordic Christmas Gnomes

On Wednesday I participated in The Thrifty Chicks’ November challenge: “spools.” After seeing all the trendy Nordic Christmas gnomes popping up everywhere I decided to make my own using spools for their bodies. This a fun and inexpensive craft was “easy as magic!” I can’t wait to make some more to give as gifts this year!

Hey Amber! Love your amber goblets (they remind me of my childhood!) and Thanksgiving tablescape. And I love the simplicity of Calypso’s gorgeous placesetting! I’m partying with you at #197 and #198- baking sourdough and offering tips to ease holiday stress – as if it were possible to avoid! Hope this finds you well and not killing yourself creating killer content. xox
