Welcome friends! I am back again today for another post in my Pin Away Wednesday series. For my last Pin Away Wednesdays post I shared highlights from my Kitchens Inspiration board. If you have been a regular blog reader here then you know that a kitchen update is on the agenda for summer. My husband and I are still trying to decide on flooring and whether or not we might try some type of cabinet refinishing, but I am certain that I will be incorporating more French farmhouse style into the design elements and the decor, including copper. I have always had a touch of the copper craze! Today I am sharing highlights from my Copper Craze Pinterest board along with some information about the health benefits of copper and copper cleaning tips. Here are some of my favorite images from the board. Pin away!
Hello everyone! I am so excited to be joining 24 talented bloggers this week for the Spring Festival Blog Hop hosted by Kendra of Joy In Our Home! Each day of the week there is a different spring theme, and today’s theme is vignettes. If you are coming over from Anderson + Grant or if you are just visiting today, I am delighted to have you here. I love vignette styling so I am thrilled to be sharing the vintage cottage and garden style spring vignettes that I have created around our home.
Welcome everyone! Is spring “springing” in your area? Pops of yellow forsythia bushes are flowering all over town which means that spring truly has arrived here in Kentucky! I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to forsythia. My grandparents had a beautiful forsythia bush by their side porch that I always loved. The blooming of the forsythia each year in March meant that my birthday and Easter were close at hand! My decorating is inspired by sentiment and what is going on seasonally in nature, so using forsythia to brighten up our home for early spring is something I always do. Even if you don’t want to drag out a lot of elaborate spring or Easter decor, faux or fresh forsythia branches can easily add some spring vibes to your home. Today I am sharing several ideas for simple spring decorating with forsythia.
