Outdoor Summer Style and Inspiring Ideas at Thursday Favorite Things

summer gardening tips summer decor, summer recipes

Happy July, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers for my third year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!

If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and or simply to be inspired each week, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed the last party you can find it here.)???? To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:

As you may know, we ended up canceling our beach vacation due to social unrest and concerns surrounding the pandemic. It has been too hot outside to do any yard work or even to enjoy the garden, so my husband and I have switched gears and resumed work on our kitchen renovation. This week he started installing our brick (pavers) kitchen floor!  Here is the very first sneak peek of my soon-to-be dream floor!

On Monday I shared a little more about my long-time kitchen floor dreams, a couple of sneak peeks of our floor in- progress, and some Beautiful and Timeless Brick Floors that will make you swoon! I loved working on this post!

As promised last week, I finally got around to sharing my Mid-Summer Junkin’ Finds Round-up!  I hope you will enjoy seeing all of the treasures that I have managed to score so far this summer (despite being in the middle of a pandemic!)

I had so much fun researching and learning more about my latest scores, these two sweet 1950’s German Dancing Dolls.  If you are a doll lover or if you just enjoy eclectic vintage finds, don’t miss this fun post!

Tomorrow I will be joining my friend Marty of A Stroll Thru Life and several other talented bloggers for the Inviting Summer Bedroom’s Tours. I will be sharing more about a pretty, vintage thrifted table that I made over and now use as a bedside table.

Now it’s time for some beautiful features from last week’s party!

    Hi Amber,

I had to let you know I’m swooning over the brick papers for your kitchen. It’s going to be stunning!

We lost power for 2 days in this heatwave. I’m struggling from being overheated. As you know heat and MS are not friends.

Enjoy your weekend and stay cool!

Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 7-13 to 7-17 on my blog. On Tuesday was an Easy Graham Cracker Crust. Wednesday saw Candied Citrus Fruit. Thursday was a Citrus Cheesecake. And winding up this Citrus Week was my post, Tip Friday Cutting In aka Creaming. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness I can’t wait to see how your floor looks when its finished. How fun! We have been talking about removing carpeting in our living room to match the wood floor in our kitchen and dining room. Not sure when we’ll attempt that one ( smile) Great features xo
