Hello everyone! I am so glad to have you back for another post in my “garden thyme” series! Today I am sharing a post with some photos of the part shade/shade window boxes I planted up for the front of our house. I am so excited to actually be sharing this post because we have lived here at the yellow brick home for five years and this is the first summer I have actually planted anything in the boxes! I really wasn’t quite ready to plant them yet but Lowes was having a massive plant clearance sale and I couldn’t pass up the great deals on these shade loving plants.
Beinvenue friends…and beinvenue SUMMER! Today I am thrilled to hosting the “Spring Into Summer” Porches, Patios and Outdoor Spaces Blog Hop where twenty fabulous blogging friends and I are getting together to share ideas for decorating various outdoor areas for summer. You can find links to all of the beautiful blogs at the end of this post. After weeks of battling pollen and rain, my husband and I were finally able to get the porch cleaned up last weekend. I ended up doing some unexpected restyling of the porch which resulted in a refreshed look in my favorite French (vintage) cottage and garden style. Come on up to the porch and take a look around!

Hello friends and welcome back to my Pin Away Wednesday series! Summer is almost here, the sun is shining and flowers are in full bloom. All the color in nature is influencing my decorating and I find myself adding more bits of color into my overall neutral color scheme. While I enjoy seeing painted walls in bright colors in other people’s homes, I prefer to keep our walls neutral and incorporate color pop through decorative accents. Today I am sharing highlights from my Colorful Interiors Pinterest board. It is fun to pin beautiful rooms that may have a little more color than what I would personally want to live with but I think are stunning nonetheless. Enjoy all the pretty colors, and pin away!
