To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
Vintage French Farmhouse Style Basket Makeover (Easy DIY Gray Wash Paint Tutorial)
On Tuesday I shared how I completely transformed an outdated basket into a “vintage” French farmhouse style basket using a gray wash technique I came up with. It was so easy, and I love how it turned out!
I also created a little vignette using the “new” basket and a sneak peek of a few vintage treasures that I found over the summer. I will be sharing more about them in an upcoming post.
For this week’s Pin Away Wednesday’s post I shared highlights from my Allergy-Friendly Cooking and Recipes Pinterest board, focusing on fall recipes. Now is the time to start gathering ideas for your healthy and delicious fall menu!
On Friday I shared my late summer French Farmhouse Lemons and Sunflowers Tablescape for the Late Summer Tablescapes Blog Hop hosted by Chloe of Celebrate and Decorate. The inspiration came from the pretty lemon dishes I found at Dollar Tree back in late spring. Pairing the lemons with sunflowers made the table seem perfect for August. Last Monday my friend Debra from Common Ground and I kicked off our new Monday link party, All About Home! We had a good turnout for the first week and we know that it will continue to grow as we approach fall.
