To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
It has been an exciting and busy week around here! My friend Debra from Common Ground and I kicked off our new Monday link party, All About Home! The party is primarily for home decor, vintage style, gardening, home decor crafts, etc. and “all things home” related. You can read more about the party here. I would love to see you all at Monday’s party too! You can visit and link up every Monday from 7:00 pm EST- Thursday at midnight. While I am still enjoying summer, I am starting to anticipate fall! Fall is my favorite season and it will be here before we know it! Yesterday for my Pin Away Wednesday series I shared my first fall themed post for the season, Farmhouse Fall Decor. If you are ready to start planning your fall decor and you love farmhouse style, be sure to check it out!
This week I will start making some small transitions summer to fall decorating transitions around our home with neutral colors and pops of yellow that work for both seasons. It’s also the time to check to make sure the hvac or central heating boilers are working efficiently, as cooler temperatures will arrive before we know it. This little thrifted bee hive birdhouse is party of my late summer tablescape that I will be sharing for the Late Summer Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Celebrate and Decorate! The hop has been going on all week with some truly fantastic tables set to inspire. I hope you will stop back by tomorrow for a hefty dose of summer sunshine in my dining room!
Basement Organization~ A Beautiful Mess
Okay let’s talk about organization goals here! I love the idea of transferring all of my holiday decor and crafts to clear totes so I can actually find what I am looking for. With fall decorating coming up I am doing some major purging and deep cleaning in the basement this week. There is no since in hoarding things I no longer use. Clutter can ruin the whole aesthetic of a home and I am ready to win the basement battle! I will share the progress as I go along in some upcoming posts.
