Bright and Fresh Spring Ideas Thursday Favorite Things

Top O’ the MARCH Mornin’, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to celebrate my fourth year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers!

If you would like to make some new friends,  grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.)  To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to:

(Club picture day earlier this week…they are getting restless, as spring fever has hit full force!)

Work has been super busy lately as I have been preparing 20 high school and middle school choir students to attend the regional All-District Honors Choir Festival which takes place TODAY! It has been non-stop in the choir classroom since All-State Chorus in early February!  Thankfully the busy-ness will help make the rest of the year go by faster. I love working with my fun and crazy kiddos, but we are all looking forward to spring break in three weeks and wrapping up another challenging school year in May.

Easy spring decorating ideas spring pillows

This week I started working on transitioning from witner to spring  by adding greenery and spring pillows around our home. Pillows are my favorite way to change up new looks each season. Here’s a post on How to Refresh Your Home for Spring with Pretty Pillows.

You will see more of my spring home decor on my Spring Mudroom Entryway tour coming up on March 11th!

Vintage Cottage Saturdays

Viintage entryway vignette with vintage books Southern style cottage style

I am looking foward to a brand new series beginning this Saturday where my friend Debra of Common Ground and I share how we decorate our homes in vintage cottage style. If you also love vintage cottage elements and are a bit tired of all white rooms and mass produced decorations from big box stores, you won’t want to miss this fun series each Saturday!

Throwback Thursday

Early spring decorating with Green St. Patrick's Day decor

I always like decorating in March because I can go crazy with my favorite color GREEN! Here’s a throwback to some of my favorite ideas for post with my favorite ideas Welcoming Spring with Bits o’ Green.

It is a bittersweet party as we look forward to the arrival of spring, but grieve the losses of our dear and talented blogging friends, Michelle of The Painted Hinge and  Paula of Virginia Sweet Pea. We all loved them dearly and they will bloth be missed.
