Hello dear readers! Today I will be sharing some inspiration for styling a teen boy’s bedroom. My son is now fourteen (kids seem to be growing up faster than ever!) and it’s time for another bedroom refresh. Last winter we started on his bedroom makeover but we never finished it completely and now he has already grown out of some of the decor in the room! I have been looking at some teen bedroom inspo so I decided to share some ideas here on the blog today.
Hello Spring! Today it was 80 degrees here in Eastern Kentucky and just a brief stroll around the yard had me dreaming spring gardening dreams! I am now ready to start making plans for some changes in the landscape that will take place later this spring and early summer. My thyme, oregano and mint is already growing rapidly and filling the March air with a delightful herbal fragrance. Even some of my succulents have survived one of the mildest winters we have had on record. There are a few daffodils left, and dainty grape hyacinths are popping up beside them too. Everything is greening up and gardening time will be here before we know it! I have some ideas for what I would like to change in the landscape this year but I thought it might be nice to take a look at some older pictures for inspiration.

I created a “Hello March Vignette” using vintage finds and I added touches of green around the house for some early spring decorating.
Okay friends, it’s March! Time to start tackling the spring cleaning full force! To get started, take a look at your house— from your wardrobe to your basement, and ask yourself, “Do I really need all this junk???” And by junk, I am even including all of the extra vintage decorative items and holiday decor that really aren’t life necessities. We fill our homes with so many “things” that we really don’t need, and most of the time the excess items just end up cluttering our minds too. After this last Christmas it seemed to take forever to pack away the decor and I have struggled to organize the basement ever since, so it is time get things under control! I am purging all of the excess this spring! For this great purging, I am focusing on donating to charities. I also want to make sure my donations go to worthy causes so I have been doing some research.
