Inspiring DIY’s, How To’s and Makeovers at TFT

Happy May and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here.???? To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:

A Pretty Spring-to-Summer Tablescape Featuring Vintage Mt. Clemons “Mildred” China

Today I am joining several blogging friends for the “Welcome Summer Tablescape Blog Hop!” Earlier this morning I posted a pretty Spring-to-Summer Tablescape featuring the vintage Mt. Clemons “Mildred” China that I scored back in March at a church rummage sale for only $5.00. I just love these dishes and I am really happy with how the tablescape came together. I hope you will check it out after visiting TFT!

Easy Succulent Hanging Basket Using Dollar Tree Supplies

Last Friday I shared how I put together an Easy Succulent Hanging Basket Using Dollar Tree Supplies for my mom for Mother’s Day and a little tutorial on how you can make one too.

Last week I traveled to historic Midway, Kentucky (Lexington area) for a routine doctor visit. I always enjoy visiting the historic town full of charming shops and historic homes. On this trip I discovered the Midway Flower Market! I had intended to share the blog post all about the market last weekend but I got tied up with finishing up our basement makeover for the One Room Challenge. The post is now ready to go and will be live tomorrow morning on the blog. Be sure to come back over and take a little stroll through the tiny European style garden shop!

One Room Challenge Week Six: Basement Teen Bonus Room Reveal!

Well, we made it! We completed our Basement Junk Room-to-Teen Bonus Room Makeover for the official One Room Challenge! There are still some little details to touch up and some decorating to do, but overall the room is complete and ready for use this weekend. Our teenage son absolutely loves it and can’t wait to have some friends over to hang out. Check out the week six reveal to see how everything came together!

Now it’s time for some beautiful features from last week’s party!
