Happy FALL, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers for my third year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!
If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and or simply to be inspired each week, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed the last party you can find it here.) To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
Last weekend I got started on adding some pretty fall flowers, plants, pumpkins and gourds in and around my cottage garden. This thrifted white urn filled with white mums and pansies is so pretty and calming to me yet still gives me the fall vibes. This week I returned to “in-person” teaching, while continuing to teach around 75% of my students who elected to continue to learn virtually from home. This “balancing act” been an extremely challenging transition. I just was getting some kind of system down for teaching all the students virtually when the transition occured. I am sure it won’t be the last change during the pandemic so I am trying to just “roll with it.”
I am so happy that we are off school tomorrow for a mini- “fall break,” so now I can have another fall “garden therapy” day! I plan to pick up a few more pansies and pumpkins to finish up some outdoor containers and displays that I will share with you next week on the blog.
Country Sampler September Newsletter Feature
I am honored that my 2018 fall porch was included in Country Sampler’s online September newsletter! I was also just notified that I will have a special vintage decorating feature in the October newsletter! The newsletter is full of decorating and craft tips featuring bloggers and decorators who love classic country, primitive, and farmhouse style. You can sign up to recieve the newsletter at Country Sampler so you don’t miss my vintage feature of any of the other great ideas in the newsletter. With the holidays rapidly approaching there are sure to be lots of them!
All the Fall Feels Fall Porch Tours
I haven’t gotten started on my fall porch this year but I will probably decorate it very similarly since it was my favorite fall porch ever.
For this week’s Pin Away Wednesdays Post I revisited my FAVORITE fall decorating round up post. Check it out for tons of pinworthy French Country Fall Decorating Ideas!
“Throwback Thursday”
This week’s Throwback Thursday post is full of creative ways to Decorate with Rustic and Elegant Bittersweet Vine. Now that it is officially fall I am ready to dig out my bittersweet! I can’t wait to decorate my new kitchen with a few touches of bittersweet tucked here and there.
Now it’s time for some beautiful feautures from last week’s party!
