Hello friends and welcome back to my Pin Away Wednesday series! I have been waiting for the official arrival of fall to share highlights from my favorite fall Pinterest board, French Country Fall Decorating. I love all kinds of fall decor but when pretty heirloom pumpkins are combined with French vintage style antiques and treasures my heart just sings! If you are a lover of all things fall and French decor, get ready to pin away!
In recent years French heirloom pumpkins have become beloved of fall lovers. I love the greenish-blue Jarradale pumpkins.
I also love simple and natural fall elements combined with French decor. A simple gathering of bittersweet vine or a single French heirloom pumpkin can make a dramatic impact among neutral French furnishings and decorative accents.
J’ adore vintage urns filled with pumpkins and gourds of all colors, shapes and sizes!
Chippy French urns also look beautiful overflowing with other fall treasures such as apples, leaves, acorns or fall plants.
Nothing says “ooh la la, French Country fall” quite like yummy velvet pumpkins!
Whether they are grouped in a collection or displayed alone in a vintage vignette, velvet pumpkins always look lovely.

Fall treasures just seem right at home among gorgeous vintage French decor and collectibles.
I love the softer colors of autumn. These pretty pumpkins with soft blue, pink and pale green hues are beautiful fall additions to French country style homes.
Coral, blush, copper and teal are all colors to use if you want to give your home Frenchy fall vibes.
White mini pumpkins and “baby-boos” are definite favorites of mine.

Wonderful post, loved all the different ideas, thanks and have a great weekend.
September 27, 2019 at 3:13 pmBeautiful pictures! All this decor makes me realize how boring my house looks haha 😉 Some great ideas here tho. Our house is older too but was redone to be slightly more modern before we bought it. The paperwork said 1920 but the foundation made the inspector believe it was from the 1800s – from most of the house you wouldn’t think it tho until you see the basement.
September 28, 2019 at 7:50 amOh wow that sounds so interesting! I wonder if you could find out for sure? Ours was built in 1921. The family that lived here for many years took great care of the home but they did modern updates throughout the years. We have spent the last 5 years bringing back some of it’s historic character.
Thanks so much for visiting. Happy fall!
