This week I explored the Boho Chic Decor Trend in my Vintage Style series. If you are primarily a vintage or traditional decorator but you like to incorporate a few trendy pieces into your decor to keep things looking fresh and updated, check out this post for ideas.

Even though fall is showing up in all the retail stores, summer is here to stay for several more weeks. Why not celebrate all it has to offer? That’s exactly what 22 blogging friends and I did on Monday for the “Summer Celebration” Blog Hop! There were so many fun ideas, it was like reading a magazine with something different and inspiring in each post. I shared how I decorated our breakfast nook with a sunny summer garden theme using late summer garden treasures. My table vignette only lasted through taking the photographs, since I couldn’t resist enjoying some of those delicious veggies and herbs for lunch!

Now if I could just find more time to RELAX in that courtyard and not babysit the blog…oy oy oy. 🙂 I love your boho chic ideas and would love to just play with all of my quirky collected things, flowers, and tablescapes. Life is always getting the way of such shenanigans. I’m sharing at #116 today, and it’s a tender topic…the genetic mutation diagnosis that has taken me on a journey with surgeries and new challenges but also great personal growth. Without such curveballs, I would simply not be awakened or as compassionate so I welcome them with a surrendered heart. I know you get it.
