Happy SUMMER and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers for my third year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!
If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and or simply to be inspired each week, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed the last party you can find it here.) To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
Yesterday I planted up my collection of vintage McCoy pots with hen and chicks and lined the pots along the back of my potting bench sink. I have had them in storage for years, and I am so excited to have a place to enjoy them now. The landscaping in the back yard around my new potting bench area is about finished up for summer! I will add more plants at the end of fall when they are on clearance, but for now the area is off to a great start.
The landscaping in the back yard around my new potting bench area is about finished up for summer! I will add more plants at the end of fall when I swipe up some on clearance, but for now the area is off to a great start. I participated in TWO blog hops on Tuesday, and I was so busy getting ready for those all weekend that I didn’t get around to sharing my potting bench post and flowers. That post is on the agenda for this weekend, so be sure to stop back by to check it out.
Simple Farmouse Patriotic Patio Tablescape
Styling his patriotic patio tablescape for a Patriotic Tablescapes blog hop was just the most fun! It really was simple and fast to put together. Once I dragged out a few of my favorite summer vintage finds and thrifted farmhouse style table setting supplies, everything came together quickly. The old-fashioned American vibes really put me in a summer mood! You can find links to 20+ other beautiful red, white and blue tablescapes at the end of my post.
Farmhouse Patriotic Styled Basket Tray
I also had so much fun styling a patirotic basket tray vignette for a creative Pinterest Challenge hosted by County Road 407. Check out my post to see the beautiful inpsiration photo by Liz Marie Galvan and to find links to 15 other beautiful interpretations of her Fourth of July decor.
On Sunday I shared my Thrifted Wicker Rocker French Farmhouse Refresh. I just love this comfy chair! It is already getting tons of use on our front porch, and also as extra seating when we need to move it to our patio. I will definitely be looking for more wicker pieces to make over this summer!
