Hello friends! It’s time for another post in my “Pin Away Wednesdays” series! Last week I shared highlights from my Winter Wonders Pinterest board which was full of inspiration for embracing the beauty of winter. Since some of the worst winter weather in U.S. history is hitting large portions of the country this week and snow is all around, I thought it would be fitting to revel in the beauty of white by sharing highlights from my White Rooms and White Decor Pinterest board. Here are some of my favorite pins from the board.

White Rooms and White Decor
A board for all blancophiles! A place to revel in the beauty of white decor, especially with French cottage, Shabby Chic, vintage farmhouse, Brocante, and Nordic influences.
There is something so elegant and classic about a home that is decorated primarily with various shades of whites. Rooms seem more open and inviting and adjacent spaces flow seamlessly.
Whether modern or vintage, all-white kitchens remain popular because they are timeless.

All white bathrooms are simply gorgeous and inviting, evoking a clean and relaxing, spa-like feeling.

Chippy, shabby, and weathered pieces of furniture and decorative accessories give all white rooms character and keep white spaces from looking too cold and sterile.
Neutral linen and burlap textiles are often used in white rooms to add interest and a bit of visual warmth.
I think white bedroom are most beautiful when layers of different types of vintage textiles and fabrics are used. For more white bedroom inspo, take a look at my White Bedrooms Pinterest board.

White rooms with lots of windows are simply dreamy!
Speaking of dreamy, white cabinets of any kind are always in my dreams!
White rooms filled with white decor come together effortlessly as they are simply unified by color.

White shiplap, bead board, planked walls and brick walls add even more character to white rooms.
Collections of vintage ironstone, white dishes and white linens are stunning decorative accents in all white rooms.
While most of the rooms featured in this post are shabby chic or vintage French-Nordic, white is also used quite frequently in modern, minimalist and boho-chic interiors.
It is not uncommon to see a beautiful mix of vintage and modern white rooms these days.
Using fresh flowers and greenery in all white rooms is an easy way to add some life, color, and seasonal interest.
Some of my favorite white rooms incorporate garden style elements.
I love the use of white decor on porches and in outdoor rooms leading to garden areas.
Ten years ago all white rooms and white decor with shabby chic influence was my favorite decorating style. While I still love it, I am now drawn to mixing woods and whites. Here, the addition of an unpainted corner cabinet provides even more “wow factor” in a room that is already swoonworthy!
I also prefer creamier whites and other neutrals mixed in with white decor.
The warmth of these gorgeous wide planked floors in contrast to the creamy white interiors make this photo totally pinworthy! I also love the pop of color a simple throw pillow provides.
This room is filled primarily with white decor, but a beautiful wooden coffee table, vintage bread boards, and dough bowl warm it up with farmhouse style.
White rooms are so lovely in winter when fresh snowfall can be enjoyed right outside the windows.
In mid-winter, a bouquet of snowdrops is a beautiful gift from nature.
If the severity of the recent winter storms has you saying, “I’m over it!” then here are some pretty white tulips to remind you that spring will arrive eventually!
I adore white tulips in a vintage white ironstone pitcher!
And if spring comes, then summer will follow too! Oh how lovely are white rooms in the summer time!
Of course white rooms and white decor can be beautiful in fall too!
For now, I am still embracing winter wonders. Today is our coldest day so far this winter with a -13 wind chill factor. The family is home for a snow day, safe and warm. I am going to be snuggled up in cozy blankets with some hot tea while I pin away some more inspiration today!
Are you a lover of white decor, or a mix of different whites and neutrals? My style has evolved to include pops of color and wood tones, but I will always have a heart for white rooms and lots and lots of chippy white furnishings and decor. I would love to hear your thoughts on white!
I am really enjoying this new blog series and I hope you are too. I am pinning new pins daily so if you are looking for more “pinspiration” be sure to join me by following along on Pinterest (afergusondecor) too. Thanks for visiting today!
