Happy fall and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here. To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
One Room Challenge Week 6 Reveal: 1920’s Tiny Powder Room Revival
Well friends, my husband and I pulled it off! It was down to the wire, but we finished the tiny powder room “revival” by the deadline for the One Room Challenge. I don’t think I have been this excited about a space in our home for a long time. Strange as it sounds, I just keep going and standing in the bathroom because it has such happy historic vibes with the beautiful revived original hex tile floor, pretty cottage-French accents and fresh antique white paint. Even though I did use French decor I also used minimalist principles to keep things from looking cluttered. I would love for you to check out the before and after.
Now there are a few changes we would like to make to the mudroom/entry area. I am looking into getting some new blinds from Next Day Blinds and installing a floor to ceiling mirror in the hall way to make the space look bigger.
Thanksgiving Tablescape Sneak Peek by Cozy Candlight
On Friday I joined 25 bloggers for the Thanksgiving blog hop. I shared a sneak peek of my table by cozy candlelight. You will see more of this table in the daytime this weekend and also on Tuesday for the “We Gather Together” blog hop. I love Thanksgiving so I am just having a blast with all this turkey day decor!
Junkin’ Finds: A Pair of Prim Pilgrims
On Tuesday I shared a pair of Prim pilgrims and a little Thanksgiving vignette in the breakfast nook. I also talked a little bit about 1980’s and 90’s primitive and country decor and my thoughts on how it has evolved into farmhouse style. I would really enjoy reading your comments about this topic too. If you love primitives, country, farmhouse, cottage (and even a little bit of French country), and especially if you love Thanksgiving, don’t miss this fun post!
We had our first November snow this week and it created some magical views in our garden. It really put me in a Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas mood which certainly influenced my feature choices for today’s TFT party!

November 14, 2019 at 5:01 pmHi Amber! I’m crazy for those plaid vintage tins…what a great collection which could be busted out each year. Hmmmmmm. More snow for us today, and I’m fine with it but freezing my booty off even inside the house. 🙂 Best to you as you tackle that ORC. I’m sharing inspiration at #144, 145, and 146…covering Thanksgiving and holiday topics so popular right now. I like the softer side of both Thanksgiving and Christmas so my emphasis is always on whites and neutrals that can linger all winter long. Thanks for hosting and hope you are cozying on down! 🙂
