Fall Home Tour Sneak Peek!

Fall Home Tour Preview fall decor

Finally… my Fall Home Tour Sneak Peek!

Hey fall friends!!!! After several weeks of cleaning, purging, and finally getting around to doing some fall decorating, I am thrilled to be able to share a fall home tour sneak peak with you today! Here are some highlights from what I plan to share on my fall home tour this weekend, as well as some other smaller fall posts I will be sharing soon:

Upcoming Fall Posts

Fall Entryway Cabinet Vignette with Thrifted Pheasant

Everything is MUCH simpler this year due to being down so long with Covid, and having to devote a lot of time to general deep cleaning and home maintenance projects. Surpirisingly, I have found that I am LOVING “less is more” fall, using only my favorite fall items and natural decorative elements. This thrifted pheasant looks so perfect on our entry way cabinet with some other pretty treasures. You will learn more about him and a few other favorite feathered friends next week!

Elegant Fall Flower Arrangment with Faux and Dried Florals

This past spring I created a large flower arrangement for a beautiful french urn on the vintage chest in the dining room. I loved the look and decided to keep the urn on display year round, simply switching out the florals each seasons. This fall arrangement with faux and dried florals was put together with supplies I already had on hand. More details and photos coming soon!

Dining Room Corner China Cabinet Styled for Fall

I made some changes to my corner china cabinet in the dining room in late September that would last through Thanksgiving. There are some new  and interesting thrifted treasures tucked in that I can’t wait to share with you on my fall home tour.

Simple Fall Kitchen Decor and a New Quartz Top Island!

DRUM ROLL….my husband finished my European style pastry table (island) in time for the fall-days! You may recall that the island was the only thing we didn’t get finished when I revealed the kitchen makeover last year. Better late than never! We found the perfect quartz top and I just love how it turned out. I will be doing a separate post with details about the island, probably after the holidays.

Simple Outdoor Fall Decor with Pumpkins and Ferns and Mums

This fall has been extremely hot and humid! With some lingering sinus and lung issues post-c0vid  I haven’t been able to tolerate being outside for very long. I normally go overboard with unique pumpkins galore, but as I mentioned, less is more in fall decor this year. I am loving the look of just a few traditional orange carving pumpkins and mums with my ferns that will still be going strong through the first frost (if that ever happens!) It’s  so stuffy here!!!

Friends, I can’t thank you enough for continuing to stop by each week for Thursday Favorite Things and All About Home during my drawn out Covid illness/recovery, and subsequent house cleaning “detox.” I am so excited that it is starting to feel clean, homey and comfortable again and that I can get back into a regular blogging routine as well. My goal is to share my home tour this coming weekend, with another fall-themed blog hop next week, so be sure to stop back by!

How is your fall weather and fall decorating this year? I love hearing from you dear readers! Thanks for visiting today!

It’s all lovely, Amber. Eager to see your tour. I’m adding fall touches too., but keeping it minimal this year. Thank you for hosting.
