ORC Week 4: Tiny Powder Room Makeover Pedestal Sink Goals
Our “Tiny Powder Room Makeover” for the One Room Challenge is coming along better than expected! We discovered that our 99 year-old hexagon tile floor is still in great shape and so far it is cleaning up well. This week we are putting in a pedestal sink and new toilet. Check out my ORC Week Four update post for all the details!
Pin Away Wednesdays: Cozy Candlelight
We have been having cool and rainy weather which has put me in the mood for creating fall ambiance with cozy candlelight. Check out this week’s Pin Away Wednesdays post for beautiful ideas for decorating with candles and beautiful candle holders.
Between the super hot start of fall and all the work around the house I never really did get around to decking out the porch for fall, but I did make a new oval wreath for the front door that I am loving. A touch of plaid, a bushel basket of mums and a traditional orange pumpkin are simple touches that will easily carry on into late fall and Thanksgiving.
After looking all fall long, I finally scored a beautiful Musquee de Provence pumpkin this week (my favorite!) Some colorful violas mixed with herbs, a happy little scarecrow, and a few pumpkins and gourds bring just a touch of fall to the back patio area.

October 31, 2019 at 7:21 pmWe have been having some rainy weather here too but about average temperatures until today. It was and still is 70 but now tomorrow the high is supposed to be 54, NJ is good for a wild ride with the weather haha!
Love how your powder room is turning out, sounds like a fun adventure. There are a couple things we want to redo but it just isn’t able to happen just yet.
