Hello friends and welcome back to All About Home! I am so excited about this being our third week already, which means we are moving closer to fall! Are you getting the “fall feels” yet or are you holding on to summer? I am in that in between stage where I haven’t quite said goodbye to summer (I will be back at the beach in 10 days!) Nevertheless we finally had some cooler temperatures that are certainly pulling on my fall-loving heart strings. If you are looking for inspiration for either season or if you just would like some ideas for everyday things that are “all about home,” then you have come to the right place! If you missed last week’s party, you can find it here.
Debra and I are delighted to be your hosts each week on our respective blogs. First we will share highlights of what each of us has been up to, then we will each share our own features. So after linking up today, head on over to visit Debra to find out what she’s been up to and to check out her features as well.
Some of my favorite posts over at Common Ground are when Debra shares her baker’s rack styled for the seasons. She always comes up with the prettiest seasonal vignettes using vintage goodies. Recently she shared her Late Summer Baker’s Rack and it is just beautiful!
Vintage French Farmhouse Basket Makeover
Recently I shared how I gave a yard sale basket a Vintage French Farmhouse style makeover with an easy DIY gray wash technique. I love how it turned out and I can’t wait to gray wash a few more tired-looking baskets in my stash.
I styled the basket in a little vignette with some of my vintage junkin’ finds from this summer. I hadn’t really created a vignette with purple tones before, but I like how it turned out.
Pin Away Wednesdays: Allergy Free Cooking and Fall Recipes
Every Wednesday I share highlights from one of my Pinterest boards for my Pin Away Wednesdays series. This past Wednesday’s post featured some fall recipes from my Allergy-Friendly Cooking and Recipes board. With the cooler temperatures and rain we are going to be having over the next few days, the crock pot will be getting put to good use! If you are looking for healthy and tasty fall recipes (gluten free, egg free, dairy free, soy free, refined sugar free) be sure to check out the post.
Tomorrow I will be joining my friend Cindy of County Road 407 and several other talented bloggers for our monthly Pinterest challenge. Our “pinspiration” photo for August is by Yvonne of Stone Gable blog and the theme is Coffee Table Vignettes. I would love for you to stop back by tomorrow to check out my easy tips for styling a coffee table vignette!
Now let’s check out some inspiring features from last week’s party!
