Some of the changes are simply a matter of refreshing the decor, while others, like a our bathroom makeover will be a little more extensive. *This post contains affiliate links and/or sponsored content.

In the year ahead I would like to create more of a traditional or transitional look throughout our home. I have been pinning ideas for some changes to our family room to start with. It never hurts to at least gather ideas when it comes to creating the home of your dreams.

Another trend, which may continue to gather speed in 2021, is working out at home.  If you have a clean garage or mold free basement,  you could make space for home gym equipment or create an area for using mats, kettlebells or weights without losing storage space or the option to park your car if you need to.

Use the wall space available to store your supplies, or  look into innovative, space-saving solutions like pull-out drawers and modular storage.

Of course home improvement or DIY projects don’t have to take a lot of time or cost a lot of money. Oftentimes, just fresh paint and accessories can completely transform a space in no time.
