Hello and welcome back to another week of Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy you are here! I am blessed to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of bloggers as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly blog party. If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. I am looking forward to seeing what you have to share this week!
First, here’s what I have been up to this week. I was obviously thinking a lot about spring junkin,’ since I shared two posts in my “Let’s Go Junkin'” series! While I love the quiet solitude of winter, I got so excited for spring when Vintage Market Days announced their 2018 schedule! I have been asked by the VMD events coordinator to come back and do another blog post about the West Columbus event in April, so I am very honored to have the opportunity to blog about something I am so passionate about…vintage junk!
I also had the pleasure of welcoming my friend Becky, Instagram Sweet Cottage Dreams, as a guest this week. She gave us an inside look at her fabulous booth spaces at Vintage Market antiques store in Turlock, CA (Central Valley). I am just in love with Becky’s vignette styling in her booth and her own home on which she shares on her Instagram feed. Be sure to give her a follow if you aren’t already!
By the time March rolls around I will certainly be ready for some spring treasure hunting, but in January I do celebrate the beauty and stillness of winter while it lasts. I am still enjoying my winter decor too, and I will be sharing more winter decorating ideas as a guest at Katherine’s Corner on Friday. Please grab a cup of tea or coffee and join us to learn more about creating vintage winter vignettes!
Features
This past week we had a huge snow here in Eastern, KY so today’s features are all focused on winter decorating ideas and wintry vignettes. These featured bloggers really inspired me to stay present and enjoy the winter season. Here are this week’s party features with some truly inspiring winter decorating ideas:
Pollie at Pollie’s Place shared her beautiful neutral winter decor. Love those lanterns and birch candles!
Fair Meadows Place shared a lovely winter tablescape with the most gorgeous transferware dishes!
Kristin at White Arrows Home shared how she added neutral Hygge style decor to her storybook Northwoods Cabin.
Pat at Bringing French Country Home showed us her lovely home full of winter white decor. So calm and peaceful!
Vintage Paint And More shared her adorable winter mantel and DIY pom pom wreath. Too cute!
Debra at Common Ground shared her Neutral Winter Home Tour and an additional post where she goes into more detail about how she transitions from Christmas to neutral winter decor. I just love the gorgeous collection of white candlesticks she used in her winter tablescape!
In case you missed the Neutral Winter Decor Blog Hop, you can take a look at my post and follow all the links to all the inspiring tours from there.
Thank you to everyone who played along and shared so many inspiring posts. Now let’s see what you are up to this week. Show us your Thursday Favorite Things!
