Beinvenue Summer! French Cottage and Garden Style Summer Porch Tour

On Monday twenty  blogging friends and I kicked off the first week of June with the “Spring Into Summer” Porches, Patios and Outdoor Spaces Blog Hop. It was so much fun with summer inspiration galore. I shared how our porch got an unexpected refresh in French (vintage) cottage-garden style with a touch of southern summer vibes. We have had rain, rain, and more rain this past week, but I was finally able to take a few more pictures to finish up my window boxes post. The flowers have grown even more since I took the photos and they are filling out very nicely!  Check out the post to see the specific plants I chose for my boxes as well as more shade to part shade window box inspiration.

In between all the rain I have been so busy working outside in the garden and also refreshing our patio for summer as well as adding easy summer style to our home indoors. Made In A Day

We have also been getting ready for a huge yard sale coming up this weekend and it feels so good to clear the clutter!  I have been working very hard to get organized for this sale. I have found several useful printables from bloggers and on Pinterest and tutorials for making my own checklist and price tags using the simple word editor on my laptop. (*If you have an Mac, simply research “what is the best PDF editor for Mac”).  Whether it rains or shines, we are still having our sale and I seriously can’t wait to get rid of the extra junk that has been cluttering up our garage, craft room and closets!
