Happy June and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here.???? To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
On Monday twenty blogging friends and I kicked off the first week of June with the “Spring Into Summer” Porches, Patios and Outdoor Spaces Blog Hop. It was so much fun with summer inspiration galore. I shared how our porch got an unexpected refresh in French (vintage) cottage-garden style with a touch of southern summer vibes. I would love for you take the tour today after enjoying the tft party today. You can also find links to the twenty other creative bloggers’ post full of outdoor summer decor ideas at the end of my porch tour post. You are sure to find some wonderful summer outdoor inspiration!
We have had rain, rain, and more rain this past week, but I was finally able to take a few more pictures to finish up my window boxes post. The flowers have grown even more since I took the photos and they are filling out very nicely! Check out the post to see the specific plants I chose for my boxes as well as more shade to part shade window box inspiration.
In between all the rain I have been so busy working outside in the garden and also refreshing our patio for summer as well as adding easy summer style to our home indoors. Next week I will be sharing my Early Summer Home and Garden Tour as part of the summer home tours hosted by Marty of A Stroll Thru Life!
We have also been getting ready for a huge yard sale coming up this weekend and it feels so good to clear the clutter! I have been working very hard to get organized for this sale. I have found several useful printables from bloggers and on Pinterest and tutorials for making my own checklist and price tags using the simple word editor on my laptop. (*If you have an Mac, simply research “what is the best PDF editor for Mac”). Whether it rains or shines, we are still having our sale and I seriously can’t wait to get rid of the extra junk that has been cluttering up our garage, craft room and closets!
Next week the 2019 Summer Home Tours begin! I am so honored to once again be participating in the week long summer home tours with thirty talented bloggers. I will be sharing my tour on Wednesday so be sure to stop back by then to see more of the yellow brick home inside and out!
Now it’s time for some beautiful features from last week’s party!
