Inspiration for the New Year at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy NEW YEAR and welcome to TFT! This is now my SEVENTH year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers!

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I want to thank all of you for stopping by each week and for all of your positive encouragement. I pray your 2025 is wonderful and blessed!

If you are looking for inspiration, want to share new ideas or make new friends, you’ve come to the right place!

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

I took a break from blogging and social media to be present with my family for the holidays and it has been so nice. Only a few more days left with our youngest son before he heads back to NY on Sunday, so I won’t be sharing any new posts until next week.

I spent Christmas day relaxing and just trying to enjoy every last second of the holiday! I have started transitioning to winter decor by removing all of the red ribbon and Santas, but I am keeping the greenery for a while longer and the tree will remain up until next week so we can enjoy a few more nights of the beautiful lights.

Last year I was still unpacking, cleaning and in the middle of renovations during January since we had just sold the yellow brick home and had to clear out what was left there, so I didn’t do much winter decorating. I am really looking forward to decorating the “new” house this year for winter! Until then, here is a throwback to one of my winter decorating posts with some of my favorite ideas and tips for Cozy Winter Decor with Touches of Blue.

Now here are some beautiful features from last week’s party!
