French Style and Fleurs at Thursday Favorite Things

Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here.???? To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:

Beautiful rooms with color! Ideas for decorating with color. Colorful interiors to love! How to add color to neutral rooms

In anticipation of summer sunshine, colorful flowers and happy vibes, I shared some highlights from my Colorful Interiors Pinterest board for my Pin Away Wednesday series. I really enjoyed working on this post and I can’t wait to add more pops of color to our home for summer!

farmhouse style patriotic decor vintage fourth of July decorating ideas

Farmhouse Style Fourth of July Vignette

On Tuesday I joined a group of talented bloggers for a fun Pinterest Challenge with a Fourth of July vignette theme. I already had some patriotic decor out for Memorial Day, and with a few simple additions I created a Fourth of July vignette which was inspired by the beautiful Pinterest photo we used for our challenge. Check out my post to see the original photo and all the details. You can also find links to 14 other bloggers’ creative red, white, and blue decorating ideas.

This weekend my husband and I were finally able to deep clean our front porch after battling horrendous pollen for nearly six weeks! I have been refreshing the porch, patio and landscaping for summer, and I even got around to planting up our window boxes for the first time since we have lived at our house! I love how they turned out, and I will be sharing a post all about them tomorrow. If you love gardening be sure to stop back by in the morning Update: there ended up being way too much rain for me to get the last couple of photos I needed before posting today, so I will share this post on Sunday.

Early Summer Porch decor patio decor and garden spaces

For lots of porch, patio and garden ideas, you will also want to hop back over to the blog on Monday too. I will be hosting the Spring Into Summer Porches and Patios Blog Hop where fifteen blogging friends will be sharing late spring/early summer porch, patio and outdoor spacesI can’t wait to see what everyone shares!

Now it’s time for some beautiful features from last week’s party!

Merci beacoup for the feature along with such inspiring creatives in blogland — including your beautiful self with those stunning windowboxes! That must feel so gratifying to get them planted after waiting! I still have not built ours, and I know how much of an impact they make so maybe this summer – Lord knows I’m always short on content for the blog! I’m sharing at today’s gathering at #32 (glimpses of our serene Arizona bedroom) and #40 (a tour of our home in dappled summer light). Thanks so much for the opportunity to contribute. Wishing you the beauty of May’s flowers and peace, right where you are, Amber. xox
