vintage Halloween tablescape

On Friday I shared my Vintage Inspired Happy Halloween Tablescape  for the Halloween Tablescapes Blog Hop hosted by Celebrate and Decorate. I created a light-hearted Trick-or-Treat night themed table using vintage and thrifted finds and a few Halloween treats. If you are looking for Halloween ideas be sure to check it out. You will also find links to 24 other creative Halloween tables at the end of my post.

ORC Week Three: Hex Tile Floor Goals

This week was so busy and productive  between having a huge yard sale and working on our tiny powder room makeover for the official One Room Challenge! I am so excited to report that the original 1920’s hex tile in our powder room is still in good shape and we are going to be able to keep it! Check out my ORC Week 3 Updates post for a first look at the tile and the progress we have made so far.

Fall Urn Ideas

Now that the weather is finally cooling off in Kentucky I am to spend a bit more time outside in the garden. This week I am going to update my planters for late fall with some plants that will transition to winter. I revisited my 15 Fabulous Fall Urn Ideas post for some inspiration. I just love fall urns!

Happy Thursday, Amber. Thanks so much for the feature and for getting my creativity sparked this morning. Of course I am thinking g-free apple crisp (the only kind I make now!) and how I need at least one beautiful urn for the front porch! October is looking gorgeous here as the trees have turned and provide such a dazzling display with this mild weather. The air smells like a bonfire…yum. I’m sharing the easiest cheesy appetizers at #12 and #17 as well as motivation to get crafting at #21. Thanks for the opportunity to gather and soak up creative ideas. xox
