Ten Lovely Loveseats: An Experiment In Defining Style

10 Lovely Loveseats Loveseat Ideas French Country Cottage Farmhouse Loveseats Chesterfield

Welcome back everyone! It’s a rainy Sunday and I am relaxing with some hot tea and just doing some interior design dreaming. I am in one of those phases where my interior decorating style is starting to evolve, “grow up,” or become more refined, although it is not necessarily changing.  Everyone has a different sense of style,  but mine has never fit neatly into one category, unless “Vintage” can be called an overall design style.  After 25 years as a home owner, I still always swoon for romantic cottage and shabby chic rooms with French influence, even if I don’t go overboard with that look in my home today.

I have found that anytime I do a round up of ideas, I always end up leaning toward French Country Farmhouse as the dominant style. For a little experiment on defining my style, I decided to pick some loveseats to see which ones appealed to me most. As you look over these choices, see which ones are your favorites too.

Although a little more “fancy”, it would be hard able to pass up this beauty at a yard sale or flea market if it was in good condition and the price was right!

Ornate details on Victorian and Edwardian furniture have always made me sigh…

So many nice choices to select from. Right now I have an oversized leather couch in the den. I have been thinking of changing it out for a love seat. You gave me food for thought.
