Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here. To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
How To Style a Simple Coffee Table Vignette
On Tuesday I joined my friend Cindy of County Road 407 and several blogging friends for our monthly Pinterest challenge. August’s theme was “Coffee Table Vignettes.” It was super fun and inspiring to see all of the different interpretations of one photo chosen from Pinterest. Each blogger shared great tips for styling coffee tables. If you are looking for everyday coffee table styling ideas or ways to transition from summer to fall, be sure to check out my post and all the other blogs via the link up at the end of my post.
Expressions from Hallmark Dollar Tree Sweepstakes
This week I partnered with Dollar Tree in celebrating their one year anniversary of carrying Expressions from Hallmark and Heartline greeting cards. To celebrate they are having a sweepstakes where 20 lucky winners will receive a box of assorted Hallmark greeting cards and a $100 Dollar Tree Gift card! With all the fun fall crafts you can make with Dollar Tree supplies, be sure to visit my post to enter to win!
This week I have been giving my home a thorough deep clean from top to bottom in preparation for fall decorating! I didn’t post a Pin Away Wednesdays post yesterday because I needed to take some time to go through my fall totes and to start making a few changes from summer to fall around our home. I even painted a few pumpkins! Next Tuesday I will be hosting the Transitioning from Summer to Fall Blog Hop to share some ideas for decorating during this “in between” decor season. Twenty blogging friends will be joining me with lots of creative late summer/early fall inspiration you won’t want to miss.
Last year’s Transitioning from Summer to Fall hop was extremely popular with readers! If you missed my post last year you can check it out here.

August 29, 2019 at 9:30 amMorning, Amber. That is some amazing eye candy above, and I feel blessed to be included in the parade. I’m sharing a few glimpses around my place at #152 with simple reminders that even small changes can pack a punch. Hope this weekend is gentle with us both. 🙂 I am moving quite slowly these days yet remaining hopeful since I have overcome in the past and fully intend to again. Thanks so much for your vulnerable sharing. What a gift when we can become more than simply personas in web space where more than a billion blogs are streaming. 🙂
