Happy July and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so excited to be co-hosting this fabulous party with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers for this inspiring weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers!
If you would like to make some new friends, grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.) To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to recently:
On Saturday I joined my friend Cindy of County Road 407 and several other vintage-loving friends for The Lifestyle of Love Blog Hop, featuring architectural salvage. If you love vintage junk be sure to check out my post for ideas on Decorating with Vintage Architectural Salvage. You will find links to all of the other creative hop participants’ posts at the end of my post.
This stock photo perfectly sums up my plans for the rest of the week..relaxing and reading on the beach! (Of course I am playing it sun safe under a tent.) I just finished book 5 of the Poldark Series (The Black Moon) by Winston Graham and it was amazing. Moving on to book six today, The Four Swans. Have you watched the Poldark series on PBS? It’s one of my favorites, and the books are even better.
With all things coastal on my mind, here is a throwback to a few of my favorite summer craft posts inspired by my natural finds and treasures along the North Carolina Coastline:
