Springing Into Summer at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy Memorial Day weekend, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too with so many ideas for utilizing your DIY skills! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here.???? To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:

Beautiful Succulent Gardening Ideas How to plant succulents in urns and pots

Planting Succulents In Pretty Thrifted Pots and Urns

The sun has been shining and I have been busy, busy, busy working on my container gardens and the little vintage style cottage herb gardens by our side door. On Tuesday I shared some of my new succulent plantings in pretty thrifted pots and urns. I can’t wait to plant more succulents and herbs this week!

Exploring The Charming Midway Flower Market in Historic Midway, KY

I am so excited to finally share all about the Midway Flower Market that I discovered while I was in historic Midway, Kentucky two weeks ago. This post is definitely for all you European/ cottage style garden lovers out there! Grab a cup of coffee or tea and take a virtual stroll around this charming flower market after partying with us at TFT today!

Pin Away Wednesdays: Patriotic Decor

It’s hard to believe that Memorial Day is this weekend! Event though summer doesn’t officially start until mid-June, most of us do associate the start of summer with the end of the school year and Memorial Day weekend celebrations. To get a head start on ideas for patriotic decor for summer, I shared some of my favorite pins from my Patriotic Decor Pinterest board for my weekly Pin away Wednesday series. There are so many beautiful red, white and blue decorating and craft ideas to “pin away!” Follow along on Pinterest to keep up with all my latest patriotic pins this summer!

Last week’s party was was truly fabulous! From bloggers sharing how they have used their creativity to build rooms to ideas ranging from healthy summer recipes, gardening ideas or inspiration for using what you have to create a beautiful living space, there is truly something for everyone. I love how the bloggers at TFT encourage each other to be frugal when creating cozy and inviting homes. For example, you can DIY a painted area rug on your deck or, instead of spending lots of money on a new outdoor area rug, you can always try area rug repair.

Now it’s time for some beautiful features from last week’s party!

I’m sorry I’m late commenting. I had an episode on Thursday and had to go to the doctor. Everything is ok.
I appreciate so much being featured. It was a fun tablescape to do and I was able to have people over in the nick of time. It is 95 today and not exactly patio weather!
