Welcoming April at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy April and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so excited to be co-hosting this fabulous party with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers for this inspiring weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers!

If you would like to make some new friends,  grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.) To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to recently:

Spring Garden Joys: Pretty Pansies and Violas

This weekend I tidied up some spring pots around my yard and garden with pansies and violas. I just love pansies, so I decided to create a post full of pretty spring pansies and violas inspo.

small hanging basket with pansies and ivy

Here is a simple little spring basket I put together with pretty pansies and variegated ivy. I just love how it looks, especially with the newly bloomed azaleas in the background.

Family Celebrations!

On Friday a small group of family members got together to celebrate my grandmother’s 9oth birthday! The party was the first time I have really spent any extended time with my grandmother, sister (pictured above left) and dad since the quarantine started last year! It was a wonderful time for all!

Small Spring Pleasures: Simply Sweet Violets

If you can’t get enough of pretty little pansies, you’ll love this post full of simply sweet violets that I shared last year. Are violets springing up around your yard?

Amber thanks for featuring my moss ball projects.
I do not have violets, but the tulips turned out beautifully this year, and there is one lone purple pansy that must have reseeded itself last year. All my purple shrubs bloom in the summer, or late fall.
    Thanks for hosting!
