It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas at Thursday Favorite Things

Farmhouse Christmas decor at TFT

Happy DECEMBER, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers in celebrating the beginning of my fourth year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!

If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and or simply to be inspired each week, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AMAZING features, you can find it here.) To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I sure did!  Even though there was no TFT party last week, I still shared a post of Vintage Thanksgiving Greetings and Verses of Gratitude in case anyone wanted to stop by and browse around the blog after dinner. Of course the Bible verses of gratitude are applicable anytime and not just on Thanksgiving. Even in these trying times, we can focus on having an attitude of gratitude!

Yesterday I shared a first look at our Vintage-Traditional Cozy Christmas Entryway and some additional holiday decorating ideas for the Blogger’s Best Home Tour featuring 30 Talented Bloggers!

The tour continues on today and tomorrow. You can find links to each beautiful tour at the end of my tour post. As you can see from the promo graphic, each post is full of inspiring ideas!

On Monday I shared “The 12 Posts of Christmas: The Best of The Holidays at Follow The Yellow Brick Home.” This is a post I shared this same time last year, but I have updated it with Christmas posts that I shared later in the season last year that you may have missed. I enjoyed looking back through the posts since they helped me remember some of the decorations I haven’t gotten out yet! Do you look at old pictures to remind yourself of what Christmas junk you have?

Last Tuesday  I joined my friend Cindy of County Road 407 and several blogging friends for a fun Pinterest challenge with a “Christmas Crates” theme. I shared how I transformed a thrifted wooden crate into a cute Christmas decoration using supplies I had on hand. Check out my post for all the details and links to 18 other adorable posts featuring Christmas crates, baskets and tray ideas.

“Throwback Thursday”

Christmas wreaths and Christmas door decor ideas farmhouse Christmas door basket

For this week’s Throwback Thursday I am sharing a round-up of Beautiful Christmas Wreaths and Door Decor from last year. I still haven’t finished this year’s swag, but it’s on the agenda for this coming weekend. I can already tell December is going to fly by! Let’s hope not! I think we all want the savor the holidays this year!
