Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here. To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
Last week’s beach vacation was a lot of fun, but towards the end of the trip I felt unwell with autoimmune flare-ups, and traveling took quite a bit out of me. Unfortunately I didn’t end up getting to hit many of my favorite vintage shops on the way home so I don’t have many treasures to share, but overall it was still a fantastic trip. I still am having just a little bit of tendinitis issues with my wrists, so I decided to listen to my body and not push it this week with blogging and social media. I am already feeling better and I should back into to the full swing of things next week. I have lots of ideas that I can’t wait to share!
Vintage shops, good food, and even the sun, sand, and surf were all overshadowed by my 14 year-old son’s baptism! My 26 year-old son baptized him in the ocean early last Friday morning before a crowd of witnesses gathered on the beach. My heart is full of praise and joy!
I am so excited to share this sneak peek photo of my sweet friend Stacy’s home for an upcoming guest home tour here on my blog! After ten years Stacy decided to take a break from blogging at Poofing The Pillows, but you can still follow her on Instagram. Be sure to stop back by next week to check out her lovely home!
This coming weekend we plan to travel to Worthington, Ohio (Columbus area) to visit family. We love visiting the Worthington Market to shop for fresh farm produce, organic jams and jellies, local honey or wine for Christmas gifts (check out Papillon wine available here for online wine shopping.) Since I didn’t get to do much junkin’ on vacation, I plan to hit all the little shops in downtown Worthington. I have also started thinking about getting a head start on Christmas shopping online on Esty and other shopping websites like Depop.
This coming week it’s all going to be about late summer cleaning and reorganizing. I love my Mrs. Meyer’s clean day products! I discovered Grove Collaborative after deciding to review products from various companies. I love product reviews! Freebies are always fun!

July 25, 2019 at 3:39 pmAmber,
Thank you for the feature at last week’s party. I hope you are feeling better and back into the swing of things soon. The past year has been a hard year for me health wise, and my blog has suffered. I have shared posts of projects around the house for this week’s party. #127 is French Country Pantry Makeover and I am loving the new toile wallpaper inside the pantry. I will also add a post about 3 Design Factors for Exterior Stairs for the new stairs to our storage room above the garage.
