vintage and traditional Thanksgiving decorating ideas Thanksgiving dining room tour

On Tuesday I shared my Vintage-Traditional Thanksgiving Dining Room Tour for the “We Gather Together” Blog Hop. Thanksgiving is truly such a beautiful holiday that often gets skipped over in our modern fast-paced society, but 25 blogging friends and I have shared many different kinds of ways to make the day truly special. I would like to invite you to “gather together with us” in celebrating Thanksgiving by visiting my post and then checking out all of the wonderful ideas via the links at the end of my post.

BIG NEWS!

Kodaly Corner: Choir Gems. A great list of choir rep!

I didn’t get around to putting together a Pin Away Wednesdays post this week because I started a new job yesterday! After taking a few years off from teaching music I had an unexpected opportunity to take over the chorus teacher position at our local high school and middle school. I had not planned to go back to teaching, but I felt led by God to take the position. Yesterday was my first day and I absolutely loved it! I have taught full time and blogged in the past, so no worries, I will be continuing to blog on a regular basis and will still be hosting TFT and All About Home. Next week I will be back to posting my Pin Away Wednesdays series and I will be sharing some other holiday inspo too. As I always say, there’s never a dull moment around the yellow brick home!

Amber – this is exciting news!!! Omg, I am also ready to start a job to take me away from the laptop…we need to talk! Choir and theatre were my favorite things about high school so what a wonderful opportunity and joyful way to spend your time. Thanks for the feature – I am always so honored to be in the company of so many creative souls. Sharing a variety of inspiration to fill up the senses today at #25, #26, and #29. Thanks for considering them, and know I am cheering you on as a busy blogger who understands the pitfalls and blessings of this job. Peace to you, friend.
