Welcome back to All About Home, and Happy Labor Day! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday. Even though fall doesn’t officially begin for a few more weeks, Labor Day traditionally marks the end of summer for most of us. Are you ready for fall decor or are you holding on to summer? Either way, if you are looking for home decor inspiration or other creative ideas that are “all about home” then you have come to the right place!
Debra and I are delighted to be your hosts each week on our respective blogs. First we will share highlights of what each of us has been up to, then we will each share our own features. After linking up today, head on over to visit Debra at Common Ground to take a look at her other recent posts and to check out her features as well.
Yesterday I shared A French Inspired Vignette with Fresh Eucalyptus. I harvested the eucalyptus from a small plant that my son got me for Mother’s Day. I love it! I also included a sneak peek of a couple of new-to-me thrifted French style treasures.
I have been super busy with packing away summer and slowly adding in bits of fall around the house. Tomorrow I will share some of my transitional decor along with 29 talented blogging friends for the Transitioning from Summer to Fall blog hop! This is going to be a such a fun hop with lots of ideas for decorating “in between” summer and fall. Be sure to stop back by in the morning to see my (very) early fall decor.
Debra has also been busy working on fall decor. This week she shared a post about Painting Faux Fall Flowers that I loved. So creative, thrifty and elegant!
