It has been another non-stop week of work as we have switched gears and put a hold on finishing up renovations at the new house to prepare for a massive living estate sale at the yellow brick home.  Literally hoarded items of collecting, staging tours and dealing antiques need to be purged from our lives as we start this new chapter with less clutter and more refined beauty in our new home. It has taken a lot longer to go through the totes and set up our home for the estate sale, also while trying to make some cosmetic repairs to put in on the market the following weekend. We had originally planned to do the sale this weekend but I don’t think we are going to have everything ready in time. It has been such a huge job sorting and cleaning out the yellow brick home, that I am even more dedicated to have a less cluttered and organized house at the old red brick home!

As we have continued to move items from week to week, we finally brought our patio table set and it has found a new home on our deck. Oh what a selling point the deck was! Surrounding by mature trees it’s like being in a tree house! I very quickly put together a fall vignette this week on the tabletop and I simply lovethis view out our dining room patio doors! We haven’t done one thing to the deck other than spray it off. We do plan to paint it in the future, but for now I am kind of loving the red popping with the fall colors on the patio table!
