Hello friends! I hope you are having a lovely spring! Easter has come and gone but there spring is just getting started and there are so many wonerful crafts, DIY’s and recipes to try during this glorious season. Today I am sharing highlights from a fun Spring Ideas Tour I joined a couple of weeks ago hosted by my friend Paula of Virginia Sweet Pea.
As it turned out, 19 bloggers joined in the fun and I was so inpsired that I decided to do a round-up/highlights post with some of my favorite photos from the tour. To make it an even “20” I shared an bonus spring idea of my own. Enjoy all the creative spring ideas!
Spring Mantels, Tablescapes, and DIY’s
Patti of Hearth and Vine kicked off our fabulous week of spring inspiration by sharing her Nature Inspired Spring Mantel Ideas.
Angie of Postcards from the Ridge had me at “flowers” and “vintage!” Love her beautiful, rustic spring mantel decor!
Marty of Marty’s Musings shared some wonderful tips for easy and inexpensive spring decor, as well as words of encouragement for stressful or fearful times.
Paula of Virginia Sweet Pea showed us how to make reaslistic looking nests out of shredded paper bags and glue! I can’t wait to make one!
Lora of Lora B. Create and Ponder came up with a Pretty Table Setting for Spring with ideas for making each place setting extra special.
Spring is the perfect time for Christy of Our Southern Home to show off her gorgeous, freshly painted dining room and the most adorable Casual Spring Tablescape!
Blue may be the 2020 “Color of the Year,” but Shelley of Calypso in the Country has always been inspiring us with her beautiful use of blue in her home. This year she shared two easy ways to decorate your mantel for spring one of which highlighted a few pieces of her beautiful blue pottery collection.

Looking for unique spring door decor? Jenn and Vicki of Two Bees in a Pod showed us how to make this adorable DIY Spring Easter Clothspin Wreath. I love the mix of greens with the buffalo check ribbon for spring!
Wooden bead items are all the rage in decor, but they can be quite pricey. Michelle of Our Crafty Mom showed us how to make a pretty split wood bead floral wreath using inexpensive craft supplies. Great hack!
I am always looking for unique container ideas for spring flowers and plants. I love how Mary Beth of The How To Home created an easy garden-themed planter using a wooden crate and a farmhouse stencil. So cute!
When spring comes I love to dress up little terracotta pots with paint and embellishments. I love how Meegan of Meegan Makes created a DIY Boho Spring TerraCotta Pot with chalk paint, boho fringe and a vintage brooch. So easy and cute!
Spring Porches
For this tour I shared my Early Spring Porch Refresh. I have so been enjoying early spring pansies, daffodils and incorporating other elements of vintage-cottage garden style on our front porch.
Susie of Worthing Court used a beautiful combination of spring greens and buffalo checks on her stylish spring porch.
Julie of Redhead Can Decorate shared a spring porch full of happy vibes! Her beautiful porch planters filled with faux ferns for early spring, prove that faux plants are a great option if you don’t have a green thumb or if it’s still too cold for spring plants where you live.

Julie of My Wee Abode shared How to Make the Best Lemon Cheesecake recipe. I love lemon flavored spring desserts!
Michelle of Thistle Key Lane shared a Mini Pound Cake Recipe. Puts me in the mood for fresh fruit!
Rita of Harbour Breeze home shared a scrumptious Mocha Rerigerator Dessert Recipe.
Crissy of First Day of Home wowed us with a recipe for the Best Homemade Strawberry Trifle Recipe with Scratch Pudding.
