TFT Blogger Link Party Best Ideas from Bloggers

Happy October, and welcome to TFT! This is my FIFTH year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers! We recently celebrated the 600th TFT! Please hop over to Katherine’s after linking up to congratulate her on the milestone and to thank her for starting this wonderful party.
NOTE: The party time has changed to 9:00 a.m. MDT (11:00 EST)

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

This was a very special week, as I hosted the first tea party at my new house for some very special guests including my beautiful Mama, beautiful aunt, and beautiful cousin! My aunt and cousin were visiting from California, which only happens about every 8-10 years.  I can’t believe I completely forgot to take any pictures of the tea and sweets I put together for the party! We were so busy spending time together that it didn’t cross my mind to take “bloggy” pictures. We did get a few pictures outside before they left though. It was a very precious and enjoyable visit!

In this photo you can see a bit of my pretty fall faux bois planters after being refreshed for a SECOND time in a week due to deer damage! I even had them covered with deer and bird netting! They also munched my gorgeous mums on the steps!

I picked up a colorful fall bouquet on clearance at the grocery store just for the party, but it is still looking beautiful days later. I will share a little more about the tea party with the dishes I used in a post tomorrow.

Now here are some beautiful features from last week’s party!

SO fun that you got to see your family and spend time together! That’s what it’s all about, right? And I love seeing the picture of all of you – thanks for sharing that. I bet the tea party was wonderful. I can totally relate to not getting any pictures – I forget all the time! Thanks so much for hosting – I’m at number 33 this time. Take care, and good luck with those deer!

Your front porch looks gorgeous, I hope you can train those deer to leave your porch decor alone! I hope you’re getting to enjoy a bit of fall beauty at your new place. Thanks for sharing my post this week from the Holiday Cupboard. I’m 21, 26 and 28 this week!

Thanks for the party Amber and my fall harvest table feature. I truly appreciated it. The tea party sounds like a perfect girl family time. Thanks for sharing the picture. Your porch looks so lush and gorgeous. When I lived back east we had deer issues too. I know some people used an egg | water mixture to keep them away from their vegetation. Good luck! XO- MaryJo

    PS: I’m @ 117, 118 & 119 this week.
