Fabulous Fall Decorating, Thursday Favorite Things

Fall Treats and Recipes at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy SEPTEMBER and welcome to TFT! This is my FIFTH year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers! We recently celebrated the 600th TFT! Please hop over to Katherine’s after linking up to congratulate her on the milestone and to thank her for starting this wonderful party.
NOTE: The party time has changed to 9:00 a.m. MDT (11:00 EST)

No new posts this week. My family traveled to Hyde Park, New York to visit my son at the Culinary Institute! We had a wonderful weekend with good food, fall colors, and cheering him on during the “Run for Your Knives” 5k!

My son surprised me by taking me to a 100% eight allergy free bakery! All items were safe for me, however, I did end up getting a bit of a stomach ache from overeating all the sugar!

Now here are some beautiful features from last week’s party!

Cinnamon sticks in a chinoiserie bowl.

Simple Simmer Pot Recipes for Every Season ~ Sonata Home Design

Skillet and bowl with kitchen towel. Blueberry Crisp Recipe.

Blueberry Crisp Recipe ~ Thistle Key Lane

a white bowl with cranberry apple chutney

Autumn Cranberry Chutney ~ Not Entirely Average

Apple Pie Scones from potsandplanes.com

Family Favorites Apple Pie Scones ~   Pots and Planes

Thanks for visiting! Enjoy the Party!

Amber, I love that Liam is thriving and you got to visit with him! I’m sharing a Halloween table at #57 this week. Continued good wishes for the move and settling in.

Thanks Rita! We miss him so much but it’s comforting to know he is loving it and doing well!

Moving is so much harder than I remember! It is taking us forever it seems! We still have quite a bit left at the other house that didn’t sell in our living estate sale. I have so many dishes left! We are putting the house on the market this week though and praying for a quick sale. I think just getting it sold and getting all the items out will help us get settled. It sure has been a huge process but we love our new home!

Got in pretty early this week! I’m at 59 and 60. Thank you so much for hosting. I know we are all super busy during this time of year. With Mom having shingles, I’m spent! I haven’t gotten a new post out in a month!

It was a great visiti! Not much color in New York but fantastic early fall color through the Pocono Mountains in PA. We are heading back the secind week of November. There might still be some color there since it was barely turning last week. I can’t wait to visit him again! Then only two more weeks after that until he’s home for Thanksgiving break!
