A Stroll Thru Life Summer Home Tour 2018

For my guest post at A Sroll Thru Life I shared some ideas for “Embracing Simple Summer Style” using gifts from nature and thrifted treasures.

Summer is a time to relax and unwind while enjoying small pleasures of the season. With a little creativity it is easy to create a beautiful and inviting home that is decorated with summer touches without stressing about it or spending too much money.

In my guest post I shared a few pictures from my dining room decorated for late summer. I decided to embrace simple summer style by clearing away my festive Fourth of July tablescape and using only a few selective thrifted pieces as a centerpiece for the rest of summer.

I also shared ideas for decorating the kitchen with summer’s gifts of farm fresh, ripe produce or very realistic faux fruits and berries.

Seashells are lovely gifts from nature and they can instantly create a summer vibe anywhere you place them. It is easy to create simple summer style by grouping various seashells with thrifted bottles and beautiful books.
