Merry Christmas! Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so happy to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and a wonderful group of blogging friends as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too! If you are looking to grow your blog, make new friends, and be inspired each week, this is the place to be. *Bloggers: If you would like a chance to be featured, please leave me a comment with the number of your link up. We can’t wait to see what you have to share this week! (If you missed last week’s party you can find it here. To get the party started, let’s take a look at what I have been up to recently:
Creating Christmas in the Dining Room
I have slowly been “creating Christmas” in our home using my favorite eclectic mix of vintage, French-farmhouse and traditional treasures. Yesterday I shared a first look at our dining room all dressed up for the season. I may not have all of the rest of our home decorated simply because I never want to leave the dining room!
I do hope you will hop over to check it out after partying here today. I am honored to be part of a fabulous group of 30 bloggers who are all sharing Christmas home decor inspiration as part of the fall home tours hosted by Marty of A Stroll Through Life.
I am honored to be part of a fabulous group of 30 bloggers who are all sharing Christmas home decor inspiration for the Christmas Home Tours hosted by Marty of A Stroll Through Life. You can visit each of the blogs via the links in my dining room tour post.
On Friday I shared some adorable Christmas Gift Ideas for the Farmhouse Lover Amazon Gift Guide By the way…it’s Giveaway Time! Follow the link in my gift guide post to enter to win an adorable farmhouse woven laundry basket/tote!
I am starting to gather ideas for our family room make over in late winter/early spring. I am looking the perfect camel colored leather sofa sectional from an affordable furniture store. I hope to achieve an overall rustic-farmhouse aesthetic with traditional touches including lots of plaid accents!
Now it’s time to check out some fabulous features from last week’s party!

December 12, 2019 at 10:07 amOooh, loving all that plaid featured this week, Amber! Sharing three recipes this week in 51, 52, 53, which is totally out of the ordinary for me. LOL Hope your week has been a good one!
December 12, 2019 at 10:31 amYou know me, so much plaid fun here. Thanks so much for sharing my front porch, and for having us over!
December 12, 2019 at 10:45 amHi Amber! Definitely mad for plaid here – it’s just what I want to wear in fall and winter, and it never falls from favor. Thanks a million for both hosting and featuring my post and photo – so happy to see it shared. I’m sharing holiday themed stories today at #65, #67, and #68 covering a pistachio cookie I developed that is a crinkle style and gluten free, decor inspiration from a farmhouse style shop, and smart dog gift ideas paired with darling quotes. Would love to hear how your are balancing the new job with the blogging – still looking for one myself. 🙂 Hope you enjoy and hope you stay gentle with yourself this week. Peace to you right where you are.
December 12, 2019 at 11:10 amAmber, thanks so much for including my Twelve Days of Christmas tables in your mad for plaid features! When you see them all together like this, you realize there’s a zillion plaid patterns! I’ve linked at # 50 today.

December 12, 2019 at 11:31 amOh, Amber, this week’s theme of plaid has me very excited, and not just because you’ve featured my Black Watch Tartan as a bonus! The more plaids the better, I say, whether it’s mixing and matching fashion or home decor. There are so many out there, and at so many price points, it can be so easy to add a little plaid flair in one’s cache. Thank you for all these enticing links that lead to satisfying my never-ending love of the tartans.
December 12, 2019 at 12:16 pmThis week I’ve opened our loft in its city style Christmas. I’m guest #89 this week. 🙂
