Lovely DIYs and Recipes for Summer Days at Thursday Favorite Things

Happy JULY and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to celebrate my fourth year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers!

If you would like to make some new friends,  grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.)  To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to:

“Plan-ting a Potting Shed”

I have been spending so much time gathering ideas and planning for my potting shed that is coming along nicely! A week of heavy rain and my husband’s second round with Covid (he’s recovered just fine!) put us behind on the construction, but good things come to those who wait! I am just happy to finally see this dream become a reality. Check out my post to see the progress and some of the ideas I have for the shed indoors and out.

I am currently at the beach having a wonderful vacation. Today I plan to hit some shops during the hottest part of the day to hopefully score a few treasures. I am looking for something “vintage-beachy” for a fun Coastal Vibes blog hop I am hosting next Friday. Be sure to plan to stop by then for a visit to see what I find!

Now here are some beautiful features from last week’s party!

This homemade coconut ice cream recipe is made with just a few simple ingredients. The ice cream at the store tends to full of ingredients that I can't pronounce which I am trying to avoid. You can feel good about eating this homemade ice cream and feeding it to your family.
