Happy October and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to celebrate my fourth year co-hosting this fabulous weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers!

If you would like to make some new friends,  grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here. Here’s what I have been up to recently:

Fall Landscaping Azaleas and boxwoods

Fall Landscaping at Our New (Old) House

I spent the weekend on brand new landsaping at the new house! It was so wonderful to spend some time  fall gardening. I hadn’t planned on working on the new house landscaping until spring, but I lucked into an amazing deal on plants this weekend that allowed me to complete the landscaping months ahead of schedule and way under budget.

*To clear up any confusion, we have not moved from the yellow brick home and we probably won’t until spring. I am not ready to say goodbye to our home just yet and there are many things left to do at the new house before we make the final commitment to either move  or possibly flip it. Our ultimate goal is to move into the new house, so we are making all the updates just the way we want them and not just to sell it.

Here’s a Throwback Thursday for some Thanksgiving inspo. I will decorating with some of my beloved turkeys and late fall accents early next week when we get back from New York.  I love this time of year! Saying goodbye to this kitchen is one of the things I am struggling with, but the new one just might even be prettier. We will see how it all turns out!
