Hello friends! Are you getting excited for the Fourth of July?  I am just crazy for patriotic decor this year! Around Memorial Day I added some patriotic flair to my dining room for summer and I have really enjoyed having the pops of red, white, and blue, mixed in with my neutral decor.

Last year in  An Early Summer Home Tour Of My Old Kentucky Home I created a simple summer berries tablescape with blue and white dishes and red ticking stripe napkins.  The tasty real blueberries are long gone, but the faux strawberries still look  fresh and yummy on this year’s table!

I love creating a Farmhouse Style Fourth of July Vignette last month for the May Pinterest Challenge. I will be sharing more of my patriotic tablescape on Friday for the patriotic tablescape blog hop.

I also created vintage patriotic vignettes on the shelf and faux fireplace mantel in the dining room.

I just love Patriotic porches! An all-American porch decked out with red, white and blue just seems so welcoming and beckons you to come and sit and sip a cold drink in the shade! It can be a great way to cool off after strolling around the garden or just a way to enjoy the outdoors without having to endure the sweltering summer heat!
