Fourth of July Inspiration and Summer Flowers at Thursday Favorite Things

Summer decor and garden inspiration from top bloggers

Happy JUNE  and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am so excited to be co-hosting this fabulous party with Katherine of Katherine’s Corner and a fantastic group of bloggers for this inspiring weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers!https://katherinescorner.com/

If you would like to make some new friends,  grow your blog audience, or just find some weekly inspiration, this is the place to be! *Bloggers: Please leave a comment with the number of your link up for a chance to be featured at next week’s party. The hosts are all looking forward to what you’ll share this week! (If you missed the last party and the AWESOME features, you’ll find it here.) To get the party started, here’s what I have been up to recently:

imple Summer Decorating Ideas with Fresh Flowers how to decorate with flowers for summer

On Friday I shared Simple Summer Decorating with Fresh Flowers as part of the Blogger’s Best Home Tour hosted by Kelly at The Tattered Pew. I can’t stay out of the garden this time of year, so I just have to bring the outdoors in! Check out my post for easy summer decorating with flowers straight from your garden (or grocery store!)

If you are gardening by day and spending the evening relaxing, I encourage you to kick back with a cup of tea or your favorite summer drink and visit all gorgeous homes on the tour.

If you need me, I’ll be in the garden!

I have been busy tidying up scraggly plants and planting all the new herbs and plants I scored for FREE at my local grocery store because they looked so rough that noone else wanted them! I can save most of them and even get them to thrive with some TLC. Until I share another garden update, here’s an older picture of one of my little magical garden spots from a few years ago. I have since moved my vintage cast iron settee set to the back yard and I am working on a new area using under the cherry tree that my husband got me for my birthday last year. It’s looking cute so far! Of course I will share a post when it all comes together!

“Throwback Thursday”

With Independence Day just around the corner, it’s time to start pulling out the red, white, and blue around here! In addition to today’s lovely features, I am sharing a throwback of an older round up post of Inspiring Patriotic Decor for more ideas.

Summer’s a busy time for gardeners, just keeping up with everything previously planted and the unwelcome invasives. Looking forward to all the pics! Today I’ve linked numbers 24 and 26.
