Create a romantic table for two or a lovely holiday table for the whole family using inspiration from this round up of creative Valentine’s Day Tablescapes!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and if you are looking for Valentine’s Day tablescape inspiration or ideas for a Valentine’s Day party or entertainment, then you’re in the right place! I am happy to be joining the talented Chloe Crabtree of Celebrate and Decorate and several blogging friends this week for an amazing Valentine’s Day Tablescape Blog Hop! You can find links to each participant’s beautiful Valentine’s tablescape posts at the end of this post.
If you are coming over from My Family Thyme I am so glad to have you! Wasn’t Lynne’s red and white Valentine’s Day tablescape so pretty? I just loved her tulips in ironstone and those beautiful hydrangeas!
While I had all intentions of sharing my own Valentine’s Day table setting for this blog hop, I unfortunately had a lot going on this past week so and didn’t get to finish up my table to take pictures in time for the blog hop. I didn’t want to miss out on the fun, so I decided to share a round up of pretty Valentine’s Day tablescapes for inspiration instead. (Thank you Chloe for graciously allowing me to continue to participate!) Before sharing the round up, here is peek of the tablescape I was getting started on.
I recently made these adorable valentine gnomes and I absolutely love them! I had planned to create a simple farmhouse table setting in our breakfast nook using the little gnomes as a centerpiece and incorporating faux pink tulips, pink heart place mats, ticking stripe napkins and ironstone plates in the tablescape as well.
If you love these little gnomes as much as I do, be sure tocheck out my DIY Valentine Gnomes tutorial. Hopefully I will have time to to share the little tablescape I have in mind sometime next week.
Five Inspiring Valentine’s Day Tablescapes
This gorgeous Valentine’s Day tablescape is so simple and elegant. Tulips are my favorite flowers and I love seeing them used in Valentine’s Day decor, as they hint that spring is not too far away! The mix of red and white tulips with baby’s breath tucked down in a glass vase with red, white and pink candies is such a cute centerpiece idea.
Tulips are one of my favorite flowers to use in Valentine’s Day tablescapes too! I also love this creative napkin fold which resembles an envelope sealed with a heart sticker. So fun!
Mary of Home is Where The Boat Is continually delights readers with beautiful and creative tablescapes. I just love the use of layering fabrics and dishes in this Romantic Table For Valentine’s Day.
A Highland Tweeds plaid throw as a table runner adds winter warmth while a white cutwork runner adorned with red mercury glass votives and rose petal softens the look by creating a romantic ambiance.

This Chic Valentine’s Day Table is so pretty with various shades of pink, rose and blush and gold. I am just loving the plaid pink and green napkins!

I collect Rae Dunn pottery but I don’t have any specific Valentine pieces. After seeing this cute tablescape on Instagram I simply must add some heart plates to my collection! I love this adorable farmhouse style Valentine’s Day tablescape!
The red ticking stripe napkins paired with the Rae Dunn dishes is such a fun farmhouse look.
This soft and subtle Valentine’s Day Tablescape created by Christy of Our Southern Home is so pretty with soft pinks and touches of gold.
I love the styled vintage silverplate tray as a centerpiece and the pretty flower arrangement. Can you believe those roses aren’t real? So beautiful!
Any of the above tablescape examples would be perfect if you are planning to host a Valentine’s Day Party. Charcuterie boards are all the rage, so consider creating a beautiful Valentine’s Day charcuterie board for your Valentine’s Day party menu. Don’t forget to include snacks for guests with gluten or dairy allergies!

January 30, 2020 at 10:21 amSorry to read you are not feeling well. Hope all is better soon. I think the Valentine gnomes are adorable, and I like the idea of the black and white ticking. Hope you will feel up to finishing the table to share later. Your selection of tables shared offer wonderful inspiration. I’m not a Rae Dunn collector. It’s surprising, I know! I love the line, but just couldn’t let myself add another set of dishes. You definitely need to add the hearts!
