Happy New Year and welcome to the 73rd All About Home Link Party! I am so happy to start a brand new year with all of you, my dear friends! Despite the trials we have all faced over the past year, I am truly grateful to have spent so many Mondays with you here at the party. It truly made things a little easier to hold fast to the anchor of “home” while we navigated the waters of 2020…(now happily, “water under the bridge!”) I am super excited to start the year with fresh ideas an inspiration gained here at the party!

Merry day after Christmas! Here in Kentucky we have enjoyed the most glorious surprise White Christmas, with picture perfect snowy views around our home and garden. We didn’t get the notification that a big snow was on the way until Dec. 23rd, so it was quite unexpected (especially when it was 63 degrees that day!) It has been over a decade since we have had a real white Christmas, so it truly made our holiday extra special! Here are a few favorite “White Christmas” pictures from today, Christmas Day, and Christmas Eve.

Happy Monday friends! Today I am sharing an impromptu post inspired by the beautiful foliage and berries on the azaleas and hollies in our landscape. It has been rainy and dreary all week, so I hadn’t been outside until this morning. When I stepped outside into another gray, chilly November day, I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant pink and magenta foliage on the azaleas growing just outside our side door. As I strolled around to the front yard, I noticed that the hollies are looking amazing too! This inspired me to share a post about these lovely evergreen shrubs and how they provide beautiful late fall (and winter) garden interest.
