Happy July, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! I am thrilled to be joining Katherine at Katherine’s Corner and wonderful group of bloggers for my third year as a co-hostess for this fantastic weekly link party for bloggers and blog readers too!
Summer
Hello and welcome to the 48th All About Home Link Party! I am so glad you are here to cheer me up a bit with all of your beautiful inspiration and friendship. Due to the current social climate and pandemic, we made the difficult decision to cancel our annual beach vacation at the last minute. Right now I would more than likely be enjoying the sand and surf— so I have to say sitting here at home is a bit of a bummer, especially when it’s too hot outside to do any gardening. Of course we have all had to make difficult decsisions and sacrifices over the last few months, and staying safe at home is just one of many. With that news in mind, I am definitely ready to be uplifted by some lovely ideas at tonight’s party!
Summer and baskets just go hand in hand! From picnic baskets, to bicycle baskets, to market baskets or simple baskets full of fresh picked produce, they are just so pretty and useful for the season. If you love baskets as much as I do (and crates too) then you have come to the right place! I have been collecting baskets and crates for years and I love using them in my home for decor and utilitarian purposes. Today I am sharing some ways I have used beautiful baskets in summer decorating and a few thrifted basket makeovers for inspiration.
